Laundry and snow

It’s so gray, gloomy, and chilly outside that I haven’t been able to work up the energy to walk outside and take a photo of the pond.  It’s not like you’re missing anything.  It looks pretty much the same as yesterday.

It’s been snowing this morning.  Nothing serious.  Just flurries.  I hear there’s a lake-effect snow advisory in effect for some of the northern counties.  Probably Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula counties.  Once the snow starts flying it’s hard to tell those counties apart since all the weatherpeople run them together and it becomes Lakegeaugaashtabula or Lakegeaugaandashtabula.  On the way to an appointment with the doc this morning we saw a truck the had an inch or two of snow on it.

Winter is coming.

The appointment with the doc, by the way, was just a follow-up for me.  Like the snow, nothing serious.

I’m working on the laundry today.  It’s not the best day for it.  I prefer to hang stuff outside on the line to dry when possible.  But it needs to be done and the weather is not going to improve much anytime soon.  This week is looking fairly busy.  I’m heading out east on Friday, to visit with my parents and my sister and the rest of the clan.  So, today the laundry, tomorrow a start on getting my house in order.

I’d best get back to it.  I’ll leave you with a couple of videos.  It’s the least I can do since I didn’t provide a view of the pond today.
