Friday’s Feast

It’s cold. We’ve had snow. The pond is frozen. And life is good.

I’ve run out of things to write about so it’s time to resort to a meme. Friday’s Feast looks like fun, so here goes…

Appetizer
How many times per day do you usually laugh?

It’s hard to say. A lot! I have two crazy cats running around the house getting themselves into the most ridiculous situations. Izzy still isn’t quite sure that her tail is actually part of her own body. Bella walks around with a cat toy that almost looks like a pacifier in her mouth. None of the might sound funny, but believe me, it looks funny.

The M&M’s are a riot, too. There’s always someone laughing about something around here. Or being the cause of the laughter.

Soup
What do your sunglasses look like?

They’re cool, baby. Cool. Want to see them?

Unfortunately these are not prescription glasses so I don’t see well in them. I bought these in San Diego when the sun came out on our last day.

Salad
You win a free trip to anywhere on your continent, but you have to travel by train. Where do you go?

Completely across the country. I love riding on trains. Do I get a sleeping berth? I’m going to assume I do.

I’d like to take my time and explore the western part of the U.S. Other than a few trips to California (Monterey, San Francisco, and San Diego), I haven’t seen much of the west.

But if I have to pick one destination, I’d go to San Francisco. Since this is my fantasy, I can travel around from there.

Main Course
Name one thing you consider a great quality about living in your town/city.

It’s quiet, beautiful, out in the country, yet close enough to Cleveland and Akron that we can partake in city culture without traveling far.

We’re not too far from Columbus, Pittsburgh, Detroit, or Chicago either. Columbus and Pittsburgh could day trips. Detroit and Chicago would be good for a long weekend.

Dessert
If the sky could be another color, what color do you think would look best?

I’m all for purple. I’ve seen purple skies, and I think purple suits it quite well.
