September Sunset

I’m probably going to regret this…

I signed up for October’s NaBloPoMo.  The theme for the month of October, in case you hadn’t heard, is HAUNTED.  It appealed to me for some reason.  It will give me a chance to do something with all those photos I took in a New Orleans cemetery back in April.

It’s still raining here in the Bogs.  Mostly it’s a light, misty type of rain but it sometimes goes full-out into deluge mode.  I took a short walk in the rain this morning.  It’s a good place to cry.

For those inquiring minds that wonder how I’m doing, I’m sad.  The weather isn’t helping but I suppose it isn’t hurting either, as it is giving me a chance to allow myself to sit with the sadness and just… be sad.

It’s ok.

Beautiful ‘haunting’ sunset. Sounds like a fun challenge!!!

I think sad is just fine.

Gorgeous pic as always and yeah, seems like a rather appropriate theme.

  3. Just ‘be’ whatever you need to be, sad, angry, weary, reflective, whatever; it’s all OK
you don’t need to ‘do’ anything

If it helps at all, we found extra copies of the wedding video today and there’s some great footage of her having a good time. If you want we can send you your copy now rather than wait till Christmas. Let me know if you need anything or if you want to chat!

Gorgeous picture too, it’s going to be my new desktop background

Thanks, Meredith. Save it for Christmas. It will give me something to look forward to (besides seeing you and Marty again!).

      Enjoy the picture. 🙂

Enjoy NaBloPoMo! I love the theme but as I will be traveling for the first three weeks of the month, I’m not doing it this month. I’ll probably do it in November along with NaNoWriMo.

The photo is gorgeous, by the way.

    • Robin says:

Thanks, Corina. I’ll be traveling a bit too, but think I might be able to manage it. And if not, oh well. No big deal. I’ll have no excuses in November, though.
