I still haven’t gotten the hang of night photography. I’ve read plenty of tips and advice on the matter, and while I hesitate to blame the camera, I suspect that might be part of the problem. I used a tripod, lowered the ISO, and tried a variety of settings. It was an extremely windy night so some blurring was unavoidable.
Our limitations serve, our wounds serve, even our darkness can serve.

This is another quick, previously scheduled post. I’ll be outside today for a rather somber occasion. Commitments met.

I took this photo last night, as the crescent moon was setting. I have a few shots of the moon as well and will post those another day. I’m a little late for SkyWatch Friday but it’s still going on through today so I thought I’d join the fun.

It’s been a relatively quiet week here in the Bogs. We had a friend over for dinner on Thursday but other that, not much going on. It’s kind of nice.
I’m waiting for the cable guy today. The modem has been working (or not working) sporadically. It didn’t work at all for several hours yesterday. It stopped working a few times this morning. I’m sure that when the cable guy arrives it will work just fine because that’s how these things go. Time Warner (the cable company) was unable to give me a timeframe for this appointment. All I know is that the guy will phone first and it will be sometime today.
We’re thinking of going to Blossom tonight. It depends on the weather. It’s been raining this morning and more rain is expected later in the day.
