In an abstract frame of mind

It is gray and windy here in the Bogs today.  But I got lucky.  When I stepped outside for my walk late this morning, I caught a patch of blue sky between the dark, gray clouds, and a few rays of sunshine streamed down for a minute or two.

Abstracts in nature

There’s not much new in the Bogs today.  Well, that’s not true.  It’s a new day and I bet there are all sorts of new things happening.  The ice forming on top of the pond, for instance.  The temperature was 16 degrees (F) when I woke up this morning.  A few more cold nights like that and the pond will be frozen over.
