How about a little color?

The photos in this grouping are all from my last trip to Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania back in May.
As with yesterday’s gallery of photos, click on any of them to start the Photo Carousel.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope your Sunday has been filled with color and magic. 🙂
Taking the weekend off

I have scheduled a couple of posts for the weekend so I can relax and Do Nothing. Or at least do things other than blog. I’ll be back live and in person on Monday. In the meantime, go ahead and do a little exploring of the Twinsburg Ledges. Click on any of the photos in the gallery to open the Photo Carousel*, a new feature on WordPress.
Thank you for visiting the Bogs. Wishing you a wonder-filled weekend. 🙂

Not in a “I want to photograph it” way. But in other ways. Responsible ways. Mundane, domestic ways.
Finding beauty on a gray day

I wanted you to see what it looks like here in the Bogs today. It’s a damp, becoming chilly, kind of day. The sort of day when you might look outside and think, “I don’t want to go out there today.”
Moonlight on Lake Erie

I’ve read plenty of tips and advice on the matter, and while I hesitate to blame the camera, I suspect that might be part of the problem. I used a tripod, lowered the ISO, and tried a variety of settings. It was an extremely windy night so some blurring was unavoidable.

They must have worked. After an unprecedented (for me) amount of sleep, I am feeling much, much better. It’s as if all that sleep resulted in a brand new me. The contrast between how I felt yesterday and how I feel today is amazing.
