Sunrise

When you arise in the morning, think of what a privilege it is to be alive — to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.

~ Marcus Aurelius

Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.  4:30am.  One of the most breathtaking, awe inspiring moments I had during our travels to the Maritimes.

Today ends my connection to the internet for a while.  No further posts are scheduled so I’ll see you again, live and in person, on Sunday or Monday.  Thanks for visiting.  Have a fabulous weekend and, if you’re experiencing the same extreme heat we are, stay cool.

So beautiful indeed, my sunrise friend… I have heard about the power being out in Ohio (if that’s true) and have wondered if you might be affected. Apparently not… Enjoy your time off, dear friend.

It is a very beautiful sunrise which You photographed. I checked at what time in Helsinki (Southern Finland) sun is rising and found at 04:07am. This means that we have summer here.

I can see why. This is a beautiful photo, but I suspect it doesn’t do the experience justice.
