Swamped

Sound footing

It’s getting pretty blustery here in the Bogs today.  Winter is returning.  The cold and snow won’t be staying long.  The predictions are that we will be back in the 50s by Monday or Tuesday.  With a high wind advisory in affect, Winter’s reappearance is going to be a bit bumpy.

Life just got fairly busy for me this week, and the weekend is looking very full.

Although it’s not a play kind of weekend we have scheduled, hopefully we’ll find a little time for play.  Or at least some moments of relaxation.

Whatever your plans for the weekend, wishing you some moments of play and relaxation.

As you can tell from the shortness of this post, I’m somewhat rushed today.  Taking a few moments to look at the lake and smile about the hike was just the break I needed.  Thanks for dropping by and taking a short break with me.  Have a great weekend!

Oh my my .. I keep waiting for the tree in the opening pic to start walking and engulfing people … thus hope I don’t have nightmares.

  2. That first image of the tree is excellent, love it.

Amazing tree picture! We’ve been in the low 80’s today, very unseasonable. But a front is coming in right now with high winds and it will plunge our temps into the forties. Quite a drop!

  5. However did you get the ent in the first photo to pose so sweetly for you?!

Love the sound footing photo, Robin. It looks like there is a little tree hugger peering out from in between the tree legs.

The title of your post could describe my weekend as well. It’s tax season here. A busy time of year.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend. 🙂

Hi Robin! What rhythms of life we have…swamped in busy-ness, and then lost in the timelessness of a hike or yoga pose. Hope you find moments of quiet in your weekend movement. P.S. Loved the first photo “Sound Footing”. It made me feel sound and rooted.

My, look at your following! Although I shouldn’t be surprised, because your writing here is always so lovely and refreshing. 🙂 I hope you found time for some fun this weekend.

This is a beautiful lake. I’m sorry I don’t keep up well these days. Life is hectic!

Funny how that name, Swamped, really does trigger the sense that those arboreal feet are stuck in muck! Nice shot.

The first photo looks like two dinosaur feet standing together. Excellent photos here. I really like them.
