Last week’s Daily Post Photo Challenge was Self-Portrait.Β I don’t like photos of myself and wasn’t going to participate (I’m late, anyhow), but after making this photo look even sillier than it did to begin with, I thought I might as well go ahead and post it in the spirit of fun.
I was going to add a Santa beard, but that might have been going too far.
This is another scheduled post.Β M and I are spending the day with M the Younger and his lovely wife.Β See you tomorrow!
Yeah, I hate selfs, too. So glad you had fun with it. It is good to be silly every now and then! Very Merry! π
Thanks, Tracy. π
Robin!! It’s so nice to see more of you than just your socks or shoes! π
I don’t like pictures of myself either. That’s why we’re the photographers and not the models, right?
Exactly, Michaela! π
It’s always nice to get a glimpse of you Robin, wearing silly hat or otherwise!
Enjoy the day with your family. π
Thank you, Joanne. π
Love this shot! Hope you had a magical few days.
So cute! Glad you decided to post this!
Clever SP, Robin. The framing is great and makes a happy-looking SP.
Love your hat, Robin. Hope you all had a merry Christmas!
Kathy
Lovely to see your smile! Mona Lisa-esque, I think! Merry Christmas!
Thanks everyone. π
Thanks for posting the photo. I’ve really fallen behind on the weekly photo challenge too. In fact, I’ve fallen behind in everything blog. I don’t like photos of myself either. You don’t look like I imagined.
I get that a lot, Christine. I’m not sure how people imagine me…
Oh YES! I like your self-portrait. It’s mysterious, fuzzy at the edges, hiding and revealing at the same time. (Do you ever look in the mirror and wonder who that stranger must be, because it simply, simply couldn’t be you? That’s how I often feel.)
All the time, Kathy! Sometimes, though, I look in the mirror and I see my mother and I find that puzzling because while growing up I heard so often that I look like my father. Yet there she is, from time to time, staring back at me from the mirror. π
Robin, I don’t think it’s silly at all. I like it! I do know what you mean though, I don’t like photos of myself either. Hope you had a wonderful time with family and friends.
Thank you, Marianne. π
Same to you too! π
