This week’s Daily Post photo challenge is Waiting.  Now that my computer is working again (thank you, M the Younger!), I was able to go to my archives for a few photos to fit the theme.

We have been gifted with sunshine here in the Bogs today.  Bright, beautiful, light.  Although it’s cold outside (in the 20s when I went out for my walk this morning), the sun makes it feel warmer.

I tried to capture some of the sunlight while I was out getting a dose of Vitamin D.  After several days of rain and cloudiness, it was nice to see blue sky once again.

The clouds you see in the above photo eventually cleared out completely, but not while I was outside.

I watched and waited as the clouds would block and then release the sun.  In the meadows, the sun appeared as a golden light in the grasses and dried flowers.

On the pond, the sun and cloud reflections created abstract works of art.

Waiting is something I don’t mind doing.  I find it a good opportunity to catch my breath and slow down my thinking.  If it’s a long wait, I use the time by reading, writing, doodling, or some other creative endeavor such as the knitting I’m learning how to do.  How do you feel about waiting?

I promised you some flowers today, didn’t I?  Birthday flowers like to be shared, and they don’t mind waiting if the wait isn’t too long.
