The little Buddha

The child has known nothing yet but love and beauty. All this piled-up world knowledge you have acquired is unguessed at by her. And yet you meet this wonderful look that tells you in a moment more than all the years of experience have seemed to teach.

The photo is a little grainy, a little blurry, and to me it’s wonderful just as it was taken. I think Miss Maddy looks like a little Buddha, all lit up with joy.
In another year, maybe less, she’ll have lost the baby face and I’ll stop posting photos of her. I’m glad I can share this one now. 🙂
love the picture!
Thanks, Chris. 🙂
I think the quote says it all ~ “The child has known nothing yet but love and beauty”. There is sure pure innocents in a child’s eyes, so clear and perfect, and also knowing.
Little Miss Maddy is wonderful! I loved her baby faced profile on your Scenes from Sunday post too. Keep taking millions of photos of her! 😀
No worries there, Joanne. 😀
Awwwwwww. Sweetest Buddha I’ve ever seen!
That’s what I think too, Bo. 😀
Oh my gosh, I didn’t think she could get any cuter! She’s so cute and round!
I’m sure she’ll just grow cuter and cuter, Meredith. Not that I’m biased or anything… 😉
What a precious photo of Miss Maddy. I love the quote! 🙂
Thank you, Anna. 🙂
