I know I promised I wouldn’t focus on clouds for the Look Up theme this month but it’s Friday and I thought this might be a good time to participate in Skywatch Friday once again. I haven’t particpated in a while because I haven’t had the time to reciprocate the visits. With rain coming this weekend, I should have plenty of indoor time to play on the computer and visit some of the other bloggers who went out and took photos of the sky. We had a storm front move through on Wednesday night. The clouds started moving in just before sunset. The lightning showed up after nightfall and the heavy rains came later that night. Buckets and buckets of rain fell, accompanied by long flashes of lightning and crashes and rumbles of thunder. It was quite a night.
The next morning (yesterday) was fresh and clean and beautiful with just a few puffy clouds here and there:

My blog stats are looking up. It’s a temporary situation and one that had me puzzled until someone congratulated me for being featured on WordPress. Yesterday’s blog post about the lovely redbud tree was chosen for WordPress.com’s Freshly Pressed. Thank you, WordPress!
