Emma’s pumpkin

(172:  Melting frost on Emma’s pumpkin.)

My granddaughter Emma grew her own pumpkin this year.  I captured it in the morning just as the frost had melted and pearled into dew drops.

I like this capture of Emma’s pumpkin in a frosty glow. 🙂

That is one awesome pumpkin, and an awesome photo of the pumpkin, too. Good for Emma, growing things young in life. She’ll appreciate her food so much more than the kids that think that the best fruits and veggies to eat are the ones grown in the back room of the grocery store.

I hope so, Bo, although she didn’t eat the pumpkin. It was her Halloween pumpkin (which wasn’t carved — it was probably too pretty for carving).
