A hole in a stone

(092:  Peering through the standing stone.  Photo © 2009 by Robin)

I was shooting through the standing stone we have at the top of the hill and the flash went off.  It was so bright outside that I wasn’t expecting the flash, but decided to wait and see how this photo looked on the computer screen before deciding to delete it.

I find it kind of interesting.  It’s certainly a different view of the pond (barely visible through the weeds).  The stone was bleached out by the flash.  It’s an earthy-brown color, a little of which you can see at the bottom of the hole in the middle of the stone.

I really like this. Neat the way it is and cool perspective. I haven’t thought about doing something like this.

Isn’t it nice what results from [some] accidents?!
