    The first time I went to one of these hot air balloon classics, I learned soooo much about the whole process. The announcer was super. He covered the cost of the envelope, the design, the life of it, etc. He talked about the pilots, too. That particular year (2005) two pilots had passed and the announcer did a super job of highlighting the accomplishments and humanitarian side of each of the two. It was such a super experience that my then 14 y/o and I decided to go back the next day for the 5 am Dawn Patrol which was stunningly awesome!

    Great series of shots Robin.

    These bring back memories of seeing a group lift-off north of Toronto some years ago. It’s quite an event – eye-filling.
