The self exists both inside and outside the physical body, just as an image exists inside and outside the mirror.

Must be a good day when your self portrait actually shows us what you look like. Great picture!
Not such a great day, Biz, but thought this turned out well so I posted it.
Thanks. 😀
Fun self portrait, very “ghostly”!
Thank you, Bookbabie. 🙂
Nice, just nice.
Thank you, Namelessneed. And thank you for stopping by. 🙂
you’ve got mail by the way.
Well, ….. hello!!
What no shades, no kerchief, no murky reflection …. omg!
Nice to *see* you Robin. lol…. just giving you the gears.
I might have to update your email i.d. shot now from your last self portrait.
Norm: lol! Thanks. 🙂
Very nice.
Thank you, Dnay. 🙂
Ever see a movie after you have read the book and the main character doesn’t look like the main character? That’s how I feel. Too young, too attractive and mischievous, that ‘s the movie version. Now I’ll have to re-read the book. 🙂
lol! I’m not sure how to take that, Anhinga.
I’m still 50, mother of two grown sons and grandmother of two beautiful little girls. Same me. 🙂
I think I didn’t “configure my words” very well. I meant the real YOU seems all those wonderful things.
That’s how I read it, Anhinga, but thought I should make sure.
Thank you. 🙂 I’ve noticed that people don’t always match those descriptions I get in my head from reading their blogs.
I’m afraid my mug ended up a lot bigger than I thought it would, so no hiding this 72 year old mother of three, grandmother of four — and loving it.
Oops! I’m aging myself — it’s 71!
lol! I’ve done that, Anhinga. It comes from thinking ahead to the next birthday.
You’re a fantastic looking 71 year old mother of three, grandmother of four. Probably because you’re loving it. 🙂
Awwww, thanks.
Robin, I really like your self-portrait. Very nicely done. I haven’t worked up the guts to do one on myself… it is coming though… once I figure out a creative way of doing it. 🙂
Thank you, Anna.
Work up the nerve. It’s not so bad. I started with some pretty obscure self-portraits and worked me way up to this one. I think my first one consisted of nothing more than my shadow.
[…] Life is feeling fuzzy right now, blurry the way it does when you have tears in your eyes. I’ve stepped out from behind the camera, the sunglasses, and the fuzz a few times before in my blogging adventures. I’m sure I’ll do so again. When things are not quite so round and fuzzy. But for those of you new to my blog and tired of looking at my feet, you can find the me from one year ago here. […]
Hi Robin! I feel like I’ve seen this before…but we didn’t probably no one another back in the days, did we?
No, I don’t think we did. Glad we do now. 🙂
