A feather in the wind

We need to find the ‘middle way’ in our own lives.  It is the art of finding balance.  Reflecting upon our lives, we soon discover what serves us well — nurturing calmness, ease, and simplicity.  We also discover what it is that leads to entanglement, confusion, distress, and anxiety.  Wisdom is being able to discern the difference, then knowing what we need to nurture and what we need to learn to let go.

  1. Beautiful! I love the contrast between the feather and the other colors. It reminds me of the opening/closing scenes in Forrest Gump! 🙂 Have a great weekend!

Seems I needed to read that particular quote exactly now. And maybe ponder n the lightness of a feather, too. Nicely done.

I really like this feather capture, and I am partial to feathers caught fluttering in the wind. Great quote. 🙂

      Thank you, Marcie. 🙂

It was a lucky find. I was sitting at the edge of the pond, relaxing, when the feather blew by and got caught in the pond weeds just in front of where I was sitting. I’m glad I took my camera with me.
