Bonus:  Today’s view of the pond —

We’re having cool, cloudy, late-September kind of weather on this last day of June.  Being one of those creatures who can’t stand the heat, I really don’t mind it.  The lettuce and bok choy like it too.  I’m pretty sure they would have bolted by now if the weather had stayed hot.
