Breaking News

The deep freeze is coming. It’s going to get cold (single digits) and snow here in the Bogs.
As if that isn’t to be expected in January.
*rolls eyes*
Sometimes I wonder if television news shouldn’t be abolished. It’s not as if they report on any real and actual news. Even when they do have a potentially interesting story they don’t bother to dig into it. Instead we get sound bites and blurbs.
Sadly, I think I learn more through reading blogs than I do from watching television news.
Yeah, but if you stay tuned to CNN all day, you can get up-to-the-minute reports on what OJ Simpson and Britney Spears are doing.
Thats why I get all my news online these days. I can choose what I read and ignore the tripe. I rarely watch the telly at all now.
For once I want the meteorologists on the news to tell the truth. Just once, today would be a good day for that, I’d like to hear them say, “Everyone, it’s F’ing cold out there.”
LOL, Bibliomom! I’d like to hear that, too.
And a LOL at what you said, Bunny. Maybe it’s good that I don’t have cable tv.
Same here, Nut.
TV news!
yeah, like when an excited news journalist announced during the floods here,
“and the island is surrounded by water . . .”
i sure hope they’re not paying him much 🙂
That has to be an all time classic, Kel. LOL!
