Bogs weather
Posted: November 5, 2007 Filed under: Autumn, health, home, NaBloPoMo, travel, Walking, weather 4 CommentsM and I were up bright and early (6:00am) once again. M is off to his conference and I’ll be going out for my morning walk on the beach soon.
It’s supposed to be partly cloudy with a high near 70 here today. Look what’s happening at home in the Bogs:
A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE OUT OF THE NORTHERN PLAINS TODAY AND ACROSS THE LOWER GREAT LAKES THIS AFTERNOON. COLDER AIR WILL ACCOMPANY THE FRONT AS WELL AS GUSTY WINDS AROUND 35 MPH. AS TEMPERATURES DROP INTO THE LOWER 30S TONIGHT…LAKE EFFECT RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE LIKELY IN THE SNOWBELT COUNTIES OF NORTHEAST OHIO AND NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA. LITTLE TO NO SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED TONIGHT.
A SECONDARY FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH OHIO AND INTO PENNSYLVANIA TOMORROW AFTERNOON. WINDS WITH THIS FRONT WILL GENERALLY BE BETWEEN 20 AND 30 MPH WITH OCCASIONAL GUSTS TO 40 MPH. FOLLOWING THIS FRONT…ADDITIONAL RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE LIKELY ACROSS THE SNOWBELT TUESDAY NIGHT. THE BEST CHANCE FOR ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL COME AFTER SUNSET TUESDAY EVENING.

I guess we’ll miss the first snow of the season. I could pretend to be disappointed, but who would believe it?
I’ll be back later (maybe) to post a little more about our hiking trip in Pennsylvania.

That’s where our big adventure started.
I’m stealing this idea from Alto2 because I think it’s brilliant. NaBloPoMo2006: The day I met Kel and Sock Girl.
I so envious your morning beach walk, which I am sure you will get wonderful pictures of at some point on your trip. Enjoy. Another thing I am a tad jealous about is the great weather. You know me. I could easily be a 3 season person that wants to live in a 4 season locale.
You get to the beach much more often than I do, SA. I’ve always been envious of your easy access to the beach. I guess that makes us envious of each other. LOL!
I have been taking pictures, but I’m not sure how good they’ll be. In spite of the promises of good weather, we’ve had mostly fog so far. I’m hoping it will burn off today. They (the weather prognosticators) say it will. Keep your fingers crossed.
You’re in San Diego, so you should have contacted TPGoddess0103, the author of Trees, Flowers, Birds whose link is on my blog. She’s a native San Diegan.
GOODness me!
Has it been a year already?
Happy blogpal-iversary 🙂
