Bit peasy in ‘ere, innit?*

Have I mentioned that the weather has warmed up considerably here in Sabbaticalville? Because if I didn’t, I should have. After all, I griped about the cold. It would be a shame to leave out the heat.

I think spring is going to be short lived and we’re going right into summer. The highs have been in the 80’s and it’s getting pretty steamy.

My goal for the next couple of months will be to stay cool. No easy feat up here on the 5th floor where all the heat that didn’t rise when it was cold has finally made it to the top.

M and I have no real plans for the weekend. That’s unusual. It’ll be nice to wing it, to go wherever the mood takes us. It might be a good idea to get out of town this weekend. Graduation at the local university is on Sunday. The town is bound to be filled with students and their families.

And now, back to the Longwood Gardens show.

It’s all so beautiful, isn’t it? 8)

*Just thought I’d throw out a little Cockney rhyming slang for my English Nutter friend. For those who aren’t English nutters, Peas in a pot is rhyming slang for hot. Peasy just takes it a step further. Speaking of a step further, check out What is Cockney rhyming slang? if you don’t know what it is.
